“ Y’all, gather ’round real quick, this one’s worth leaning in for. Fielding’s might officially be my new happy hour obsession... nah, scratch that, one of my top food spots period. I took myself out on a solo date and grabbed a seat at the bar around 6:45pm on a Friday (yes, prime time), and let me tell you, they were packed. But even in the chaos, the bartenders? On point. The energy was high, the service was smooth, and the drinks were flowing. I especially want to shout out Brenden (I think I spelled that right) dressed in all black, cool as ever, handling the pressure like a pro. Calm, collected, and absolutely killing it. Honestly, this review is for him and the whole bartender crew. Y’all crushed it. The drinks were fire, the food was top-tier, and the hospitality? Chef’s kiss. Thanks for making my solo night out feel like a vibe. Now to the owner(I think he is) in grey suit with the white and pepper beard and bald head, I noticed you only speaking to pairs of two or more. If you noticed someone at the bar by themselves speak to us as well! ”
“ I went to Fielding's River Oaks last Friday and had an amazing experience! The Memorial Weekend specials were absolutely delicious — everything was so well-prepared and flavorful. I’m already looking forward to their new summer menu and can’t wait to try it out. The service was friendly and attentive, and their cocktail selection is top-notch. A great spot for both the food and the vibe. Highly recommend! ”
“ Not paid or asked review: Brunch: This is exactly what we’ve been looking for, a place that prides itself on food and good customer service. We were blown away with the responsible/local food, the taste was phenomenal, and the staff were kind and helpful. Shout out to Dee for exceptional service. The pricing is very reasonable, on par with other places however, the quality is far higher here. The live music was such a nice touch and incredibly good. This is our new favorite brunch spot! We can’t wait to come back for dinner and other events as well. ”
“ Hands down a hidden gem in River Oaks...but not for long. They opened 6 months ago and just getting started. I’ve come for brunch, HH, and coming to try them for dinner. The customer service and atmosphere is 10/10 with the best bartender Ana, the owner Cary is a total vibe and how cool is it they have their own brand of hand creams, scrub and soap ?! Talk about a unique concept in a sea of restaurants in Houston. Can’t stop bringing more and more people here to check them out and try more delicious food in their menu :) ”
“ It was our first time visiting for brunch on Easter and we had a wonderful time. My mom and I had the lemon cream cheese pancakes and they were absolute heaven! They were rich and melted in your mouth. My sister also loved her egg sandwich. We tried some cocktails and the aviation was our favorite. The owner Cary was also really friendly and posed for a photo with us. :-) We look forward to coming back soon. ”
“ Had to go try their lemon cream cheese pancakes. They were to die for along with their breakfast potatoes . Yum! Everything we ordered was perfect. The Manager, JT, took the time to tour us through their meat aging and bacon curing, in-house bakery and pizza oven, super clean kitchen. Said their steaks are their best seller. That's what I'll be having next time! Oh! And live music during brunch time. Very relaxing. ”
“ Dropped in for brunch on a Sunday before the rush. We were offered a booth adjacent to the bar which we happily accepted. The owner stopped by and talked to us explaining what makes Fielding’s unique and even offered a tour of the kitchen. Our server was attentive and helpful. However, she was not very knowledgeable of the brunch menu. While a shortcoming, we appreciated her candor. She told us up front it was her first brunch shift & promised to find the answers to the questions she didn’t know. We ordered: breakfast martini, latte (not pictured) coffee cake, romaine salad, spinach salad, avocado scramble & the black lentil shakshuka. We found everything to be super flavorful. They offer a mimosa flight and a boozy breakfast coffee flight which we didn’t have a chance to try this time around. Live music was also a nice touch! Looking forward to a return visit for social hour and/or dinner. Note: valet available ”
“ Came here on a Sunday around noon for brunch and we were blown away! The food, service and ambiance were all immaculate, this may be my favorite new restaurant in Houston! Food: we ordered the mimosa flight, spicy scrambled eggs and crab avocado toast which came highly recommended by our server Javier, and it was probably one of the best brunch dishes I’ve had in my life. We also got the chocolate fondant dessert at the end which was delicious. Service: the place was pretty busy for brunch but service was still good - the owner came by our table a few times to say hello and even helped us clear dishes Ambiance: there was live music playing (singer was very good!) and the restaurant had a great vibe Would highly recommend this place, we definitely want to go back and try dinner one day! ”
